III INTERNAIONAL CONFERENCE
«St. Petersburg – the sea capital of RUSSIA. Transport and transit potential»
On September 9-10, 2010 г. in St. Petersburg within the frame of the “UNITED RUSSIA” Party Project «St. Petersburg – the sea capital of RUSSIA» the III International conference «Transport and transit potential» will be held.
The event is devoted to discussion of main issues on development of Russian transport and transit system, aspects of international cooperation in transit transportation sphere.
First persons of profiled federal ministries and departments, representatives of administrations of more than 30 regions of the RF, transport and logistic, navigation and manufacturing companies, sea and river ports, delegates from European and Asian countries are invited to participate in the conference.

TRANSTEC 2010 will present the opportunities to open the trade highways within Russia, between Russia and her international trading partners and between Western Europe and the Far East. The Russian landmass as a major EuroAsiatic transport corridor has always been a central theme of TRANSTEC.
International Ports Associations and leading individual ports globally will be invited to participate in the Programme.Port Links Sector v without this rapid development of sea and inland ports the production and consumption of products for Russian industry and society will be at a level far lower than demanded by the Russian population and the Russian business community.
Port Links include Rail Links, Road Links, Logistics Operators, Terminal Operators, Air Links, Intermodal Transport Systems, Information Technology, Container Traffic Development and Project Management.
The international Forum Marine Industry of Russia is to take place at Gostiny Dvor exhibition hall from 19 till 21 May, 2010. Among organizers of the Forum are Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, RUIE, leading industry associations, Ministries and Agencies, and MegaExpo. The Forum is dedicated to matters of shipbuilding, upgrading of ports, development of navigation, introduction of innovative techniques in the field of marine machinery and building civil ship.
