RZD to Receive State Subsidies Totaling 135 Million Rubles

The Government of the Russian Federation will provide Russian Railways (RZD) with the subsidies totaling 135 million rubles in 2009 for the compensation of losses caused by setting exceptional rates for the transportation of nephelinic concentrate from Apatity to Pikalevo (the Leningrad Region). The Prime-Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed the relevant order on 29 October 2009. The subsidies will cover the empty car mileage with their return from Pikalevo to Apatity. (USD1 = RUB29.1330)
