The grain operator Rusagrotrans is offering special discounts for the agricultural producers. On 1 November 2009 Rusagrotrans set 10% discount for the rape and sunflower transportation via South Eastern Railway, Kuibyshev Railway and Privolzhskaya Railway. The company set 1.1 rate instead of 1.17 rate for the transportation of shorts, mixed feed and cakes at South Eastern Railway, Moscow Railway and Gorkovskaya Railway. Extra charges for urgent grain car supply will be reduced from 20% to 10% of the tariff rate. The companies which provide large batches on their elevators for shipment by block trains will obtain a 10% discount as well.
