Grain export of Rusagrotrans totaled 8 million tons in July-October 2009 (-8%). In November 2009 the company expects increase in grain export, from 1.69 million tons in November 2008 to 2.10 million tons in November 2009 (+25%). Due to the increase in the volume of exported grain Rusagrotrans reduced the surcharge of urgent application for the railcars from 1 November 2009 by 10% against the general tariff (20% rate was effective before).
