On 18 January 2010 the namegiving ceremony of the second suezmax tankers was held at Jiangsu Rongsheng Heavy Industries (China). The tanker series is being built under the program which implies the upgrade the company’s fleet. The vessel with the deadweight of 156 000 tons is named NS Bora. The tanker will be put into service in early March 2010. Then, the vessel will provide its first shipment. The new suezmaxes of the shipping company area designed for the crude oil transportation. Specifications: length – 274 m, beam – 48 m, draft – 17 m, speed – 15.1 knots. The construction will be supervised by the classification society Lloyd’s Register. The first vessel of this series (NS Burgas) was commissioned on 28 October 2009.
