JSC Freight One results for H1’2009

In H1’2009, JSC Freight One (OAO PGK) conveyed 103.6m tonnes of cargo, which is a 1.6-fold increase over the same period last year (39.5m tonnes). Over the first six months of 2009 the company conveyed the volume it did 2008. Such growth is primarily the result of increasing Freight One’s freight base due to the phased withdrawal of its fleet from Russian Railways.
Over the period January — June 2009 the following volumes were transported: 33.7m tonnes of coal; 8.9m tonnes of oil products; 8.9m tonnes of ore minerals; 8.0m tonnes of construction materials; 3.6m tonnes of black metals; 4.7m tonnes of cement; 2,3m tonnes of chemical and mineral fertilizers, and 11.1m tonnes of other cargo.
According to the results for H1’2009, Freight One’s share in the total volume of carriage along the Russian Railways network was 18.3%.
