50 Trains Abandoned at Far Eastern Railway

As of 5 November 2009 50 trains (3000 railcars) were abandoned at Far Eastern Railway with the coal accounting for the main part of cargo. There were 3888 railcars with coal at Vanino station in early November 2009 at Far Eastern Railway. The most difficult situation was at Daltransugol. There were 2894 railcars for Daltransugol at the railway with 16 train abandoned and average daily handling of 333 railcars with the standard handling of 440 railcars. As of 4 November the volume of unloaded railcars totaled 643 units because the consignee failed to arrange unloading during the winter. There are 1176 railcars with exported coal (11 freight trains) are delayed at the railway for Posiet port. Average daily unloading is 71 railcars with the standard plan of 200 railcars. There are 2882 railcars with exported cargoes at the railway for Vostochny Port. The unloading operation totals 517 railcars with the standard volume of 780 railcars.
